Temperature shock test chambers for simulating the high thermal values
required by testing standards in the electronics industry which require
building components to be exposed to changes in
temperature from –80 to +220°C within seconds. The test specimens are

This test cabinet is used for performance of combined temperature and
multi-axial-random vibration tests. The object of HALT (Highly
Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress
Screening) tests is to discover faults in parts and components of diverse
products. In order to improve the product quality, the cabinet not only
allows performance of vibration tests, but also of HALT/HASS tests.
Faults are induced by excitation of fast temperature cycles and 3D
vibration. The test cabinet „Sigma“ consists of a test space with
airconditioning components and a vibration test table. The asymmetrically
designed test table is subject to controlled shocks from pneumatic
actuators arranged underneath, so that up to 35grms can be measured
with six different degrees of freedom, in a spectrum between 5 and
3000 Hz.
