Tunnel System

Efficient testing of electronic components and devices with production
control. Every tunnel system is designed as per the customer’s
specification!

Operation mode:
The system comprises of several assemblies i.e. cold/heat zone,
assimilation zone, transport system and two contacting and testing
stations. In addition, two work stations for loading/unloading test
specimens are available. The control units travel through the system on
a transport system. First of all, the control units are heated / cooled to a
certain temperature. When this temperature is achieved the motor control
units are transferred to the first contact and testing station. The control
units are contacted (voltage applied) permitting them to be tested.
The second contacting zone is used for testing the gear control units.
The speed sensor of the gear control unit is also stimulated in this
separate heated zone. After the units have left the contacting and testing
station they are transferred to an assimilation zone. Finally, before leaving
the system, the control units are marked as per test results.
The cold/heat zone can only be used as either cold or as heat zone. If a
cold and heat test is required, the units must pass through the tunnel
twice. After the units have passed through the tunnel for the first time, the
 cold/heat zone must be heated up or cooled down to the required
temperature.
