Humidity and Temperature Transmitters
Humitran-RHT Series - Humidity and Temperature
Transmitters

Description: TEGAM's solution for
monitoring relative humidity and
temperature, the RHT series provides
a linearized output current from
4-20 mA(model RHT-20C) or a
linearized output voltage from 0-1VDC
(model RHT-10V) representing
temperature and humidity. Humidity

readings are temperature compensated and the RHT transmitters only
require an unregulated DC supply voltage of 6-30VDC.
Model  RHT-20C produces 4-20 mA current signals representative of
temperature and humidity and is ideal for transmitting readings over long
distances of cable. Model RHT-10V produces a linear voltage from 0 to
1 volt representative of temperature and humidity. Because voltage is
used instead of a current loop, less power is consumed which makes this
model ideal for battery powered applications.

 

Humitran-RH Series - Relative Humidity Transmitters

Description: TEGAM's RH series
transmitters are an economical
solution for the continuous monitoring
of relative humidity. The unit uses
a special thin film type capacitor
protected by a removable stainless-
steel mesh screen located on the
outside of the enclosure. Tegam's

Humitran-RH transmitters are built with an air tight ABS enclosure that is
easy to mount onto a wall or other flat surface. Requires a 6-30VDC,
(24VDC nominal) power supply. Each model has a single, two-wire output
for either a 4-20mA or 0-1V signal. Model RH-20C outputs a 4-20 mA
current loop for long virtually unlimited cable distances.
Model RH-10V outputs a 0-1V voltage representative of the humidity for
low power or battery powered applications.

 

Humitran-DP Series - RH & Temperature Duct Probe
Transmitters

Description: TEGAM's Humitran
duct probes provide a reliable,
accurate, and low cost method for
monitoring relative humidity plus
temperature. Solid state sensors
supply excellent sensitivity, fast
response and long term stability.
Simple hook up and linearized output

permit interfacing with most display or control devices.
Model RDP-20C outputs a 4-20 mA current loop for long virtually
unlimited cable distances. Model RDP-10V outputs a 0-1V voltage
indicating humidity for low power or battery powered applications.

 

Humitran-T Series - High Temperature RH &
Temperature Probe Transmitters

Description: TEGAM's high
temperature solution for RH and
temperature monitoring under high
temperature conditions.
The Humitran-T Series transmitters
measure humidity levels from 3% to
95% RH and temperatures from
-40°F-356°F (-40°C-180°C). Probes

are constructed with stainless steel and Teflon cable.
 Model HTRH-W is a 2.5" long X .625" diameter probe supplied with a wall
mounting bracket. Model HTRH-D is an 8.5" long X .624" diameter probe
supplied with an adjustable, removable flange for duct mounting.

Description: TEGAM's Humitran-C
Series offers a total temperature

Humitran-Model RHS-1 Humidity Controller
& Probe Sets 

Description: Model  RHS-1
Relative Humidity Set point controllers
are simple to install and offer
dependable performance for
monitoring relative humidity. Each set
includes a dial-type set point controller
and a stainless steel humidity probe.
The probe may be mounted up to
several thousand feet from the
controller. The controller includes a
recorder output of 0-1 V or 0-5V for a
0-100% RH input, independent
bandwidth control, 230VAC @ 5A

Model 819 Single Input, Type K J T,
Thermocouple Thermometer 

Description: The Model 819 digital
thermometer is compatible with
type K, J, or T thermocouple probes to
provide a wide range of
temperature measurements, (-346°F
to 2502°F). The heavy-duty case is
specifically designed for durability and
resistance to contaminants such
as dust and chemicals. It also features
a tilt bail for hands-free or bench
top operation. An optional protective
rubber boot & belt clip, PN#8204, is
available to protect the meter against
drops and other physical stresses.
Optional accessory kits are also
available.

 

Model 820 Dual Input, Type K J,
Thermocouple Thermometer 

Description: Model  820 series,
dual input, digital, thermometers are
compatible with type K or J
thermocouple probes to provide
temperature measurements from
-346°F to 2502°F. The heavy-duty
case is designed for durability and
resistance to external contaminants
such as dust and chemicals. The case
has a built-in tilt bail for hands-free or

Model 821 Dual Input, Type K J T,
Thermocouple Thermometer

DESCRIPTION:  This dual input thermometer is functionally the same as
the Model  820 except that type T thermocouple compatibility is added to
expand the meters compatibility to the most common thermocouple types.
Option #8204, protective rubber boot & belt clip, and other accessories
compatible with Models 819 and 820, are also available for this device.

 

Models 874F / 874C General Purpose Digital
Thermometers 

Description: Tegam's  874F and
874C Budget Series thermometers
provide the economical solution for
general-purpose temperature
measurement needs. The units accept
type K thermocouples and probes.
Constructed with ABS material for
resistance to inorganic salts, alkalies,
and many acids and exceptional
durability, this meter is designed for
the toolbox and for use in the field.
Optional 8660 tilt stand/belt clip, 8668
vinyl case or 1104 leather case are
available. Model 874C measures from
-85°C to 1100 to °C and Model 874F
measures from -120°F to 1999°F.

 

Models 871A / 872A Thermocouple Thermometer with
Analog Output

Description: Industry's leading
handheld thermometers that feature
analog outputs for use with chart
recorders or computer I/O cards,
the 870 series has dual thermocouple
inputs and respective linear analog
outputs which produce 1mV/°C or
5/9 mV/°F in the 200° ranges and
1mV/°C or 5/90 mV/°F in the other
ranges. The Model 871A uses Type K
thermocouples to measure a
temperature range from -40 to 1999°F

(-40 to 1370°C) and the Model 872A uses type J thermocouples to
measure from -40 to 1400°F (-40 to 760°C). An optional, vinyl carrying
case, PN8668, is available for these models. 3-ft beaded wire
thermocouple probes are supplied with each unit.

Thermistor Thermometers
Model 865 / 866 Thermistor Thermometers

Description: Tegam's Model 865
& 866 digital, thermistor
thermometers measure temperatures
from -70°F to 300°F,
(-55°C to 150°C). Compatible with all
YSI Series 400 probes, temperature
measurement is performed with a
basic accuracy of .3%. These
thermometers are specially constructed
with a heavy duty ABS case
specifically designed for durability and
resistance to contaminants such

as dust and most chemicals. Model  865 reads in °F and Model 866 reads
in °C. An optional tilt stand/belt clip, PN8660, is available for field
or bench top use.

 

Models 868 / 869 RTD Thermometers

Description: Models  868 and 869 digital RTD thermometers
measure temperatures from -360°F to 1100°F, (-220°C to 630°C).
Compatible with either 3 or 4 wire RTDs, temperature measurement is
performed with a best accuracy of .4°F(.3°C). These thermometers are
specially constructed with a heavy duty ABS case specifically designed
for industrial use. Model  868 reads in °F and Model 869 reads in °C. An
optional tilt stand/belt clip, PN8660, is available for field or bench top use.

Model 8662 Thermistor Sensor Probe 

Description: Ideal for biological
and geophysical testing of gases,
liquids and subsoils. This rugged 5-ft
long wire probe is constructed with
stranded 22AWG Teflon-insulated wire
connected to a YSI series 400,
1/4" phone jack. The probe tip is
protected with a 304 stainless
steel casing.

 

Model 8663 General Purpose /
Immersion Thermistor Probe

Description: Designed for immersion into liquids or gases, the 8663
probe is constructed with a 3-3/4", round tipped, 316 stainless sheath,
and a 2" handle connected to a thermoplastic rubber coil type cord.
The cord extends from 1-1/2 feet to 3 feet.

 

Model 8665 Surface Thermistor Probe 

Description: For fast temperature
measurements on flat surfaces
such as grills or ovens. Designed with
a 3-3/4", 304 stainless steel
sheath terminating into a 1/4" flat
beveled tip for easy tip placement
onto the surface being monitored.
The flexible thermoplastic rubber cord
extends from 1-1/2 feet to 3 feet.


Model 8666 Air / Gas Thermistor Probe

Description: The specially designed, shielded tip of this probes
makes it ideal for monitoring moving air or gas temperatures.
The exposed sensing element, located on the tip of a 3-3/4" long, 1/4"
diameter, sheath, is protected by a perforated shield to minimize
fluctuating readings caused by radiation or isolated gas pockets.
The cord is an extendable / retractable coil-type which is 1-1/2 feet long
and can extend up to 3 feet maximum.

 

Model 82814 Penetration Thermistor Probe

 

 

Description: Constructed with a pointed 316 stainless steel tip for
insertion into semi-soft materials such as meats and cheeses. The extra
heavy duty cord expands and retracts from 1-1/2 to 5 feet, thousands of
times without breaking. The 3-3/4" sheath is constructed with 304
stainless steel with a 316 SS tip.

stable 4 terminal AC Bridge

Selector Switches

 Tinsley Resistance Thermometer
Selector  Switches may be operated
either manually or remotely via the
Thermometer  Bridge or computer.
The Type 5840CS/6 accepts up to 6
thermometers and the  Type
5840C5/15 will accept up to
15 thermometers.

 


A standby current of 1 milliamp is
available  on all positions. This
enables thermometers when not
selected to be energised 
continuously to avoid a warming up
period when selected. Units can be
supplied  with terminals or BNC
sockets and should be specified
when ordering.

Penetration Probe

 


Description: Type-K
thermocouple probe. Ideal for

materials. The sheath is 3" long and
1/8" in diameter and is constructed
with #304 stainless steel. The
coil-type cord is constructed with a
thermoplastic rubber jacket and is
1-1/2 feet in length and reaches up
to 5 feet when fully extended.

 

Model 8715 Surface Probe

 


Description: Type-K
thermocouple probe. For monitoring
hotplates, furnaces, molds, and
other solid surfaces. The exposed
thermocouple junction provides an
accurate reading of surface
temperature within 3 seconds. The
sheath is 6" long with a 1/4"
diameter flat tip. It is constructed
with #304 stainless steel. The vinyl
clad straight cord is 3-feet in length.

 

Model 8716 Air / Gas Probe

Description: For measuring
atmospheres in hoods, ducts, and
vents. A perforated-style shield
protects the thermocouple tip from
radiated temperature change in
order to provide more accurate
readings. The 8-1/2" sheath is
constructed of 304 stainless steel.
The probe is supplied with a 3-ft
straight cord.

 

Model 8733

 


Description: Multi-purpose
probe for measuring air, liquids, soft
materials, (e.g., water, ice
cream, etc.). Compact size makes
this probe easy to transport. The
403 stainless steel sheath is 3-3/4"
long with a 2" handle. Thermoplastic
rubber, coil-styled cord extends
from 1-1/2 feet to 5 feet. Model 8733
is a Type K probe and Model 8753
is a Type T.
